I won’t live by your timeline.
The blueprints you’ve laid out, claiming there’s a right and wrong way, to reach the goals laid out by me.
Set directions you follow orderly, not a black and white as we are taught to believe.
Time to see the world for what it truly is.
Time for us to finally start to live.
There’s too much at stake to simply make claims on how to be.
Based on very different times, and fear of any other way.
Change at monumental rates, we’re no longer built to fade.
Stay at home, rot away. We hope for something more now I see.
Some things, must be cast away if we can hope to, grow as a race.
And I can see it playing out in different ways.
But I keep being pushed towards what’s considered safe.
So what’s the point in choice when it’s already made for us.
What’s the point.
It’s all the same to me, the way you choose to live.
Taking no chance to see, what could have been.
